Westchester Ballet Company Benefit Performance

Don’t miss the guest performance of FJK Dance’s DUM TAK ; A signature piece of FJK Dance cross-cultural dialogue in choreography. Performed in point shoes, Latin heels and barefoot; Dum Tak presents a fusion of ballet movement and Latin partnering to Arabic percussion (tabla) playing Latin rhythms from salsa, samba, and rumba. In addition to FJK Dance Seasons in New York City 2015-2017 This work was performed in a 31-city tour in China’s POLY Theaters, Beirut/ Lebanon’s Jimmayseh theater and Battery Dance festival.
