FJK Dance is proud to present a preview of our Season 2025’s program which includes MOVE; a signature repertory piece that exemplifies FJK Dance’s dynamic fusion of contemporary ballet and ballroom movement with a Middle Eastern touch. Presenters, agents and dance professionals will also experience an excerpt of the highly anticipated project TO HEART; A Heartfelt Journey to Finding the Path to Love and Connection. Inspired by the timeless poetry of Rumi, this multimedia production reflects Khoury’s artistic process, deeply rooted in the principles of unity, love, and cultural understanding.

Presenting a solo work Unforbidden. A multimedia contemporary dance theater piece where choreographer Fadi J Khoury takes the stage to tell a story he shares with so many of his heritage around the world. Unforbidden is a journey of finding peace and opening the heart to share the truth. A queer story so humane and relatable, yet so hard to tell from a Middle Eastern background in these times of oppression and resistance to the LGBTQ+ community.

This season highlights Fadi J. Khoury’s artistry as a peacebuilder, challenging stereotypes and celebrating diversity, by drawing from FJK’s community outreach work in NYC Health & hospitals to counter the stigma of mental health. Join FJK Dance for an evening where choreography and visual art converge, transcending cultural divides to reveal our shared humanity.

The full evening program is scheduled to premiere at the New York Live Arts theater in New York City in June 2025 and will be available for touring after July 2025.
